Marisa is a multi-multidisciplinary artist based in Canada. Her career began as a Paris train cook, and later a renowned cooking school owner. The transition from culinary arts to Painting has been a natural evolution in her desire to create more sensory experiences.
Her style has evolved from classic to life to looser, more dynamic, comic mark, making, where vibrant colours and textures take centre stage. Florals are my preferred subject, emerging my passion for gardening and floral design. Through my work, I aim to capture the fleeting beauty of nature, inviting viewers to slow down and connect with the world around them.
She considers herself an emerging painter – energetic, curious, and seeking experience experiences that will push the boundaries of my visual language.
